AAFP National Conference of Family Medicine Residents and Medical Students -- The National Conference is held annually in Kansas City, MO. Over 50 topics on clinical skills, leadership development and career planning are covered in workshops, procedural skills courses and musculoskeletal clinics during this four-day event. The National Congress of Student Members (NCSM), which convenes during the conference, offers the ideal forum for discussing issues and concerns facing medical students. The NCSM business sessions provide the opportunity to have a voice in AAFP policies and positions and to elect AAFP student leaders.
